Hanford pharmacy runs customers off

The new pharmacist at the W. Lacey store in Hanford, CA should be fitted with a swastika armband rather than a white lab coat. This modern-day Mengele runs a background check on virtually every customer. The first day that I saw him he was so overbearing that two women in front of me demanded their prescriptions be returned to them. My prescription refill was three days early (most pharmacists will refill three days early, some more), but he told me to come back in four days. I went to the CVS at 10th and Fargo and they refilled the prescription in 10 minutes.

On another occasion, I took a script for pain meds to the Lacey store because the 10th and Fargo location did not have enough pills to fill the prescription. There stood Herr Apotheker again. This time he would not fill it because I had previously had this medication filled at a pharmacy that stays open later than CVS on weekends but is a bit more expensive (every dollar counts these days). I took the script to the other pharmacy and they happily filled it.

The previous CVS location on South 11th Ave. in Hanford was somewhat rundown, but the staff was extremely friendly and they filled your prescriptions without acting like some drug store version of Joe Friday. The staff from the old store is gone and the new W. Lacey location is staffed with a collection of idiots who get an erotic thrill from sending the customer away empty-handed.

This %u201Cpharmacist%u201D at the W. Lacey store is an anachronism. He would have been much better suited at Dachau in the 1940s, happily marching prisoners off to the %u201Cdelousing%u201D chambers.
